We are now moving into some very unfamiliar territory with the current outbreak of COVID-19 and we want to give you an update on our current position.
In order to protect the health and well-being of our employees and students, we have decided to cancel all classroom-based training until further notice.
In order to minimise disruption to your studies, all distance learning modules will continue for as long as possible.
Any residentials have been postponed with new dates to be confirmed. Students effected by postponed residential components will be emailed directly with the plan for your individual circumstances, as we are exploring options to convert more classroom delivery components to distance learning.
The AiTS office is now closed and we are all now working from home. Therefore, please utilise the VLE messaging service or email your tutors directly. Any general/administrative enquiries can be directed to Anna Howe as usual by email to ahowe@aitsuk.com
As this situation is evolving we will keep this under constant review.
Ultimately, we want to help as many students as possible complete your studies for the year as you were originally expecting to do. If you need any additional support along the way then please contact your tutor. Given the circumstances any requests for extensions will be assessed sympathetically.
As we move forward in these worrying times and become more and more segregated, please look after yourselves both physically and mentally and do not hesitate to reach out to any of us for advice and support for your studies or just to chew the fat.
Stay Safe Everyone
